Jason, whats up..? Do you have the Sister Morphine - Pillfreak demo..? It's only that one song but a rawer different version of it. Its got some strange samples in it courtesy of Ross the K... Lost mine in Katrina... Sister Morphine was our name previous to Drip
@JasonPizzolato6 жыл бұрын
Wow, I'd completely forgotten about Sister Morphine 'til just now! I don't have that, no. I remember when Toby interviewed Jimmy in Manson Family Fanzine, Jimmy mentioned that the old name had been Sister Morphine. Maybe Ross still has it..? We need to find that!

I have only that Sister Morphine - 01 - Pillfreak on 192bps mp3. I was chkn to see if someone already had drip (pre-eyehategod) - 1991 - learning about manners [demo] and here it is lol. my version has different track titles I got it from someone ya'll probably know w/a last name Daquin(sp)? from a mIRC stonerrock chat room from 99-2003 pre-katrina.... I also had what seems to be the only copy that survived of Graveyard Rodeo - 1985 - Realms Of The Undead (Demo) I mailed a copy to I believe it was Perry in 2006? who lived in New Jersey when I moved back to South Louisiana from Arkansas, \m/

maybe someone can help me, whats up with my version? I am the same TC that gave paranoize his copy of Graveyard Rodeo that was lost bitd too. Drip 1991 Learning about manners [demo] 01 - are you holding 02 - mainline'n k4's 03 - on the nod 04 - smoke on the water 05 - take another valium 06 - worship the needle

@@bayouboy6668 Those are just some bullshit song titles that someone made up a while back. Maybe they didn't know the real titles, so they made up their own, I guess. D'aquin has gotta be Rob D'aquin. He's from Chalmette. My friend Kelly knows him. He told Kelly that he was the vocalist for Crawlspace for a lil bit after Mike quit. That true, Mike? I really don't know him. Can you send me that Sister Morphine - "Pill Freak" track, Bayou Boy? I'll shoot it over to Mike, too. We've been wanting to hear that for ages! jpizzo76@gmail.com

@@JasonPizzolato thanx for letting me know, are any of those songs even legit just mis titled & out of order? also could you listen to my version of the demo track to be sure it is what I claim it is. it is my fault for not chkn it out deeper. i assumed it to be correct as sent so if none of it can be renamed i'd rather just delete it. lemme know.

I previously found two rips of this demo. Both of them had fake titles and never had all of the songs. Thanks for uploading the full demo!
@JasonPizzolato6 жыл бұрын
No problem. Mike was pretty ticked off about those uploads w/ fake titles. I don't know why people do stupid shit like that. By the way, my boy just sent me his digitization of my Down demo cassette tracks. Gonna scope 'em out tonight & they'll be up soon. :)
@gavin66666 жыл бұрын
Jason Pizzolato Thanks! and speaking of EHG, do you have the demo for Mike's side project from '93 called "Never"? They made 2 songs and one of them was put on a compilation called "Luxuria".
@JasonPizzolato6 жыл бұрын
I don't have Never, but my friend Mike Gillham (ex-Haters) has it. Unfortunately, one (or maybe both?) of the tracks on his cassette have messed up audio -- you can hear whatever's on the other side of the tape bleeding through. His brother has a good copy, which he's trying to get from him. He'll upload it if & when he gets it from him (I don't think they're on all that great of terms right now). His YT page is called "blackoperations". That's where it'll be if he gets his hands on it. He said he may just do the one w/ damaged audio if he can't get the better copy.
@JasonPizzolato6 жыл бұрын
Psst. Never got uploaded, G. Go look on the page called Blackoperations. Gillham got it digitized.

Thanks for putting this up. As a fan of G.D.O.C. have you seen The movie Barfly?
@JasonPizzolato Жыл бұрын
Yes, I have the VHS tape! Love that movie. Factotum (the book AND the movie) is killer, too. Matt Dillon plays Bukowski in that one..
@mikedoss9777 Жыл бұрын
@@JasonPizzolato Good film but I feel Matt Dillon was too pretty in that movie. I love the bloody dirty Mickey Rouke version of Charlie.
@JasonPizzolato Жыл бұрын
@@mikedoss9777 I'm partial to the Rourke rendition, too, but both had their merits. I remember Bukowski saying that he liked Dillon's depiction more. He said that Rourke didn't get the swagger right; he said it should've been more subtle or something. lol. A few years ago, I read Hollywood, which relates to the Barfly period.

@@JasonPizzolato That's what I was thinking about. :/ Thanks Man!
@@leventekabai2600 I was at that show! It was the record-release party for Melvins - 'The Maggot'. Dale Crover invited me to it the night before when his side-band Altamont played. Altamont also played at the party; they headlined, Clearlight opened. Acid King & Hawgjaw, too. That day was a fucking blast. Free kegs of beer + pizza. Dale signed my 'Bullhead' record that day; I still have it. R.I.P. Joey Lacaze. He was a great friend..

Any recordings with Glenn rambo?
@JasonPizzolato5 жыл бұрын
No, nothing was recorded w/ Glenn.
@MikeIXWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Jason Pizzolato Is he talking about Drip with Glenn? Me & Jim quit eventually and Glenn sang a couple shows and I believe Jason Pilgrim joined Drip on vox at some point...? I don’t know if I’m correct about that however.
@MikeIXWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Jason Pizzolato Do you have the 1st Soilent demo uploaded on here?
@JasonPizzolato4 жыл бұрын
@@MikeIXWilliams Yeah, pretty sure he means Drip w/ Glenn. When we (Apostasy) played w/ Drip at Abstract Bookstore, you & Jimmy had recently left the band to concentrate more on EHG, so they had Glenn on vocals & Tommy Buckley on drums. It was one of those poorly-attended shows that were put together at the last minute. Stressball cancelled, so I called Brian & got Drip to play. Glenn threw up corn all over the audience while Drip played. haha!! There weren't many people there, but they sure did get a tasty treat! Pilgrim once told me that he was vocals for Drip after Glenn quit or left the band or whatever. Glenn Walle was on second guitar at that time, I believe. Brian talked about some of that in a Drip interview in Manson Family 'zine, which I have a copy of around here. I need to dig that up, huh? I can take pics of the interview. There's an EHG interview w/ Jimmy in there, too, & an O.L.D interview w/ Alan Dubin.
