I've had a washable area rug in my kitchen for years. The one I have leaves enough space around the counters where most of the big spills happen so I don't have to wash it often. That one looks great in your kitchen.

I just bought one at Meijer last month (it was 50%off) and I love it! I put mine by my bed and it's just enough to take the chill off my cold laminate floors.

I to like rugs in the kitchen and absolutely cannot have a rug in my bathroom cause of a man. Ugh!🤬
