YES TO NO CAKE FACE SMASHING. One, it’s a weirdly aggressive way to start your married life. Two, as I told my husband, if he wanted to still be my husband at the end of the day, he was NOT going to ruin the hours of work and hundreds of dollars I spent on my makeup, hair and dress for the day. Thankfully he was of the same mind, and we’re still happily married 10 years later, this fall 💖😊💖

The final coat and texture coat makes sense, if you don’t have a smooth coat under the texture when you use the comb you’d see the crumb coat and wouldn’t be as pretty. Love your videos Joshua

Stuff that goes under carpet is some times called underlay. When I was a kid I was told the bubble in spirt levels were real Mermaid Farts.🧜‍♀️ When you said ice cream cake I thought you meant a cake made from ice cream. There actually is a reason to do the perfect coat before the messy coat. If you just do the messy coat it something goes to far and exposes the cake. Then you end up with a semi-naked cake look.
