Its a glitch. The map shows where the current rival is, and the icon is the love sick heart. Also, the with the spying camera, such as during the Monday event, the Senpai icon & the Love Sick heart rival icon will be there if you pan the camera to see from a bird's eye view/ on top of their heads.
