For any confusion, the scene where vijay was drunk ans stumbling at the university with the guard; that wasnt the day he exchanged the remains of two boys. He did it the day the body was found and the medical experts took the remains back. Thats the day he called the guard to drink there and swap the remains since the employees work during the day. He however has been spending nights there drinking with the guard to keep that usual behaviour. Considering he was aware of the possible location of medical expertise during the writing of novel, he kept working on his plan for quite a few years.

Malayalam Industry sold their Rights to Ajay Devgan for money. Drishyam was the first remake which make Malayalam Drishyam more Popular in north side. Moreover original one was slow and lengthy. But this one was fast with tight screen play. But yes Credit goes to writer of this movie Jeetu Joseph and yes Acting of Mohan Lal sir was extra ordinary. But no one can ignore the performance of Ajay Devgan

So, one little info, at the end when we see Vijay watching them from afar, notice that he is the only one in his family who is wearing a pure white shirt, In Indian customs when attending funerals people mostly wear white, some very distant people might not but generally people "close" to the family wear white, So throughout the story people and his family believe he has forgotten or you know got over all that stuff that happened in the previous movie! But at the end of the movie, only he is carrying that guilt of killing someone else's son, not saying who is right or wrong here but his entire family have at the very least have some peace. Also, notice his shirts throughout, when he is disposing the evidence, his shirt is black, during the court room its greyish( darker side) and finally when he is watching its white, depicting that in his mind everything now is progressing towards right for his family

She is a woman herself, not once she felt remorseful or guilty that its all her son's filthy disgusting act and intention that led to his death that too by accident.
