Starting from Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City, which is located in the northeastern part of Kanagawa Prefecture, Kawasaki Ward, which faces Tokyo Bay, and Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, are connected by the Tokyo Bay Crossing Road "Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line", and from Kisarazu City. It is a general national highway route that traverses Chiba Prefecture's Boso Peninsula from east to west and connects Narita City, which is also the center of the Hokuso region, with an extension of about 125 km. They are Kisarazu City, Ichihara City, Chonan Town, Mobara City, Oamishirasato City, Togane City, Yachimata City, and Tomisato City. In Kawasaki City, it is also known as the Fuchu Highway, and from Kisarazu City to Mobara City, it is also called the Boso Odan Road. The section between the Mobara intersection in Mobara City and the Ono intersection in Togane City overlaps National Routes 128 and 126.
