Drive Around Illingworth Calderdale West Yorkshire England

Illingworth is a village within the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale, in West Yorkshire, England. Illingworth is one of the Halifax villages that have all become suburbs through urban expansion. Situated on the side and top of a hill, this is an exposed area, and feels cooler than lower down districts.

Wow I lived in Illingworth from birth 1947 .First in the prefabs Dudley crescent the up to Sturton Grove .It was lovely to recognise my school Whitehill infants and Juniors and own past Tony's chippy (probably not Tony's now) thank you so much for the memory's Linda Blaylock (ne green) PS I now live in kirklees

A pleasant, gentle drive, thank you. But I didn't recognise where we were!!! (However, as I haven't lived in Halifax since 1975, it's no wonder, really!!)
