Drive Belt Replacement for GE Washing Machine. Oh no! Got the Wrong Belt!

Our GE washing machine would not start up and it was due to a bad drive belt. Got the replacement belt (generic) and not the right size! Got a true replacement (authentic GE part) and worked like a charm!

Good job with the repairs. I'm still waiting for the repairman to fix our GE refrigerator. It's only 2 1/2 years old.

When you tried to put the first belt on you tried it on the wrong pulley. It should have gone on the smaller one, however, I bought the exact same belt from the same supplier on Amazon and it does not fit so I did what you did and bought direct from GE. Now we wait for delivery

Can you use any ge belt or does it technically have to have a model number ?

When I got the authentic GE belt I specified the model number of the washer to the supplier
