Drive Belt replacement Mazda BT-50 (4WD)

Hello KZbin, welcome back.
Today, I'd like to show you the replacement of drive belt on a Mazda BT-50. The job is actually not that hard, but due to narrow space and it has a total of 9 driven pulley, idler and tensioner, it is quite challenging.
The belt itself is the longest I have ever since. So sit back, relax and enjoy.

Thank you for this video. I do wish you had spoken or at least put captions at the parts where you look like you are speaking. For instance I am struggling with adjusting the pulleys in order to fit the belt, how you are doing that itsn't really clear to me in the video.

i find that it is 11mm hole for the tensioner,, i used my sump plug tool set for it.. with a breaker bar.

Needs commentary, or captions at least. What torque setting for the tensioner bolt? What year-model BT50? How do you tell if the belt tension is right?

corey tekanawa it would appear to be a standard breaker bar. At 18 seconds into the clip he shows a diagram, pause the clip and have a look.

I've just replaced my belt but now it seems the tensioner pulleys are out of alignment, the belt is in all the tooth pullys perfect just crooked on the smooth ones, any idea how to align this ?

Sound like you need a new tensioner pulley very common
