Both my sister and I recently went on a trip to Oregon and visited the Motor-Vu Drive-In theater (she and I have been doing this every summer for the last 6 years) and we saw some intermission ads similar to this. Also, 2013 marks the 80th anniversary of the very first drive-in theater, which was in New Jersey. It also marks the 60th anniversary of the Motor-Vu Drive-In in Oregon (one of the very few drive-ins that remain open in Oregon).

Depends on the movie, but yes.... the concessions never tasted that good at my spots... these ads were great- they could sell a turd and make it look tasty.
