Cool. I had to come to the comments to understand, because I am also a tourist. Had no idea what happened. But I get it. She was standing for a picture.. whatever else was happening.. she stepped aside for and then this happened? And they got a little extra. London is so unique. I'd have no idea how to act over there. I often wonder how do they feel about tourists? Do they get annoyed at people? Because we don't know how to conduct ourselves. Some of us are there just to enjoy and share in culture.. but don't want to impede in other people's property. And if it annoys them.. I surely don't want to do it.. I am not one of those people that wants to see the world at others expenses. But I want others to enjoys and share in my culture.. ya know.

Welsh Guards, Irish Guards, Scots Guards, Grenadier Guards. I believe that the bear skins used to be worn by Napoleon's Imperial Guard. Did we "borrow" that part of the uniform as a snub or in respect of our former enemy?

I admire the Royal Guards of the Queen since I was small, indeed in "Back-in-Home", watching the Royal Charriot. I have to say, "I saw the Queen". Maybe thats also why they puy their feet pointing outwards from the body and heels together to .stop tripping themselves over and to also be able to give balance so they can stand for a much longer time?? They do that as a warning to disrespectful bystanders who tease them or get in their way. But its also a custom associated with the British royal guards.

I hope you meant the tourists are ridicules for they way they ridicule another country's army. These men and woman are guarding the King of UK ofc with real weapons if a threat to the Royal family occurs. I think UK should start to fine tourists that disrespect and stands in the way of the army.
