Ah, you noticed the shirt! Yes, I discovered him through Railroads Online and I've been really enjoying his real-life railroading video series at the Colorado Railroad Museum.

Try TRS trains smoke unit . They produce a huge amount of smoke compared
@michaelramsey812 жыл бұрын
I'm a big fan of what TRS Trains is doing, but unfortunately, he's in the UK and I don't want to pay to ship a loco all the way over there and all the way back. He only does custom fittings - he doesn't sell the units by themselves. I have been working on my own version of the water-based mechanism he uses, and that may be the subject of a future video.

@Michael Ramsey You didn’t do an update on your CN diesel.

Whoops, I knew I must have forgotten one! I'll be sure to do something with that one soon.

Ty, i like that locomotive.

I’m thinking of doing something similar to your railroad numbering scheme. My fictional railroad, The Silver Leaf & Valley River Railroad operating from 1872-1911, and reopened as a short line in the late 1940’s (specifically 1947).

I’d honestly love to see a video on the smoke unit because that looks really nice but I do understand that these videos do take a lot of work as made evident by the whole quality over quantity aspect of this channel. I enjoyed the video, keep up the good work, Michael!
@michaelramsey812 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'll definitely think about doing one, maybe when I have a few more of the bugs worked out. Right now it's pretty sketchy and doesn't work all that reliably.

So will you be converting the prairie back to what you had it before or not
@michaelramsey812 жыл бұрын
Probably not. I have another Spectrum 2-8-0 now, so the Prairie will probably be relegated to a source of spare parts.

Hey mike how about the Walthers Canadian national diesel locomotive

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that one! I'll have to dig it out of the closet. I did a repaint on it a while back that I wasn't totally satisfied with, but now might be a good time to redo it, like I did with the passenger cars.

Instead of a rc helicopter review, have you ever thought about doing something with an rc plane?
@michaelramsey812 жыл бұрын
Yes! I actually own an E-Flite UMX Turbo Timber that I fly occasionally. It's an awesome little plane, and I do plan to make a video about it at some point. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
