I was walking around Hiroshima/Kure Japan looking for car pics and googled “Hiroshima Car scene” which randomly brought up vids from this movie. Wow! So amazing and glad to stumble across this! Great movie!

@@sarahlane3760 Half of what I watch is in a foreign language. It's about the pace and genre of the film. Like food cravings. Sometimes I wanna watch a comedy, or a drama. Or a dramedy. Sometimes a thriller. Maybe a popcorn action flick. Hell lately I've been consuming a lot of documentaries. Most in a foreign language. If you watch a slow burner film like this when you're not in the right mood it you'll won't appreciate it as much.

Double voyage ! Inclure du coréen avec du mandarin et la langue des signes en plus du japonais c'était la cerise sur le gâteau pour ce film ayant remporté le prix du scénario au festival de Cannes en 2021. C'était largement mérité. A la fin image en provenance de la Corée, l'histoire se poursuit dans l'esprit de chaque spectateur, j'y vois une fin heureuse car apaisée enfin, j'aimerais pouvoir en dire autant de la mienne toujours emberlificotée dans une toile d'araignée similaire à celle du film.

Anytime a movie is that long, I always ask myself at the end of every scene, was it necessary? As someone who went in knowing the themes of the story from the original short story, I can honestly say that every scene did contribute. The movie felt short to me. I wanted to see more, to be honest.
