This was my family car as a kid. It was solid, multiple trips from UK to Western France. Not seen one in years.

I'm from the Philippines and I started following you after I bought my 1st Previa 3 weeks ago. I'm trying to get inputs from owners because I have no knowledge whatsoever of this egg of a car , your vlog cleaning it is very informative and entertaining 😊 Nice to see you in this video too 😊

We love our Previa. Swapped a JDM engine in ourselves by wrapping a ratchet strap around the roof. It is a wonderful, overdesigned marvel. Will keep it forever.

just to clarify one thing, actually 2tz-fe was mainly reworked 2rz engine made for the 1989 toyota hiace h100. both are minivans developed in the late 80s so no wonder why this happened. either way, as a fun fact, toyota made a 4.0 v8 hiace h100 (1uz-fe). only 1200 were ever made but it most definitely was the fastest minivan in the world at the time.

By the way there was a. Previa in the Wednesday (Addams) series. Also: I love your enthusiasm!!! I also drive a 1972 Mercedes 306d diesel van. The grandfather of the Sprinter. Previa's are indestructible. Much like Mercedes diesels they were used as taxis all over the world because they run for 500k miles. Trust your Previa. You have chosen well.

Easy enough to tell if the sads bushings have been done. All the early vans had non rebuildable sads, later (93 or 94+) had ones that the bushings could be replaced. They are reasonably easy to visually differentiate. A manual previa will need a later sads shaft to replace the bushings
