You'll ind this a surprising state, nothing like you expected 7 National Forests 4 Ski Resorts with often 150" base. And 1/3 low desert, the rest high desert and mountains with the world's largest stand of Ponderosa (Western Yellow) Pine.

Thank you for this! We are leaving this week from Mesa to Pittsburgh. I was wondering how bad this drive through the Forest would be, if I should just take the 17. I think we will take this way!
