Thanks for this. Great notes on it. We enjoyed this book too. I do think it was a dark comedy. There were elements that were funny and quite quirky. Please feel free to compare our notes on it too. Part of me is still trying to figure this book out to be honest! It's funny because I liked her character more in the beginning but by the end she kind of annoyed me hahahha! I But I do agree there really was an Environmental/political lens and message to it which was rather controversial. I think the end was an interesting spin, was the message that we can justify murder of a human for our political/environment end? Or that animals are just as ( if not more) important than human life 🤔 ???

Def an off-putting read at times and open to various interpretations. I'd like to read more from her to better understand her style and perspective. I think that could shine light on this book. Appreciate ya checking out the video!
