That Piccolina seems to be the ultimate mascot of building things flexible so they're strong. Which is actually a big thing in engineering, particularly how they build airliner wings and even some buildings, big cargo ships too.
@jwalster941210 ай бұрын
That's why they use like 200 rubber bushings on anything that can more or twist on common road vehicles. If a suspension arm can move somewhat freely in most directions, but mostly stay at one axis then it's a lot more comfortable and less likely to have massive issues if you hit a pothole.

That CCF put on a really good show, but I think is a bit unrealistically strong compared to the base game cars... At least the radiator. There's no way a radiator would survive being pushed up and smashed like that so many times without even starting to leak in a base game car or IRL (I know it's a game, but BeamNG is a simulator after all)

The first car's suspension was a transverse leaf spring layout. It's strong and simple, but not very responsive for sports use. Ironically, Corvette used an updated transverse leaf spring in the rear of its cars until the C7 generation.

C2 and 3 are transverse leaf rear, but I think the C4 all the way to the C7 was front and rear, which is crazy. And also incredibly annoying that there was room for improvement that GM just...
