Great memories, back in 2000, when my parents gave me the psone, my youngest uncle was unenployed and sometimes came to play games with me, i had spider-man, tekken 3 and re2, and he gift me driver 1 cuz i didnt have racing games, and we spend months playing to complete the game. In 2018 i bought my own car, a 2nd hand civic and soon after i got my license. He was surprised i got a car and asked if we could take a ride, of course we took a ride and he drove to and old square near my grandpas house, then he put this track and gave me a paper: Burnout Handbrake Slalom 180° 360° Reverse 180° Speed Test Brake Test Lap We still play videogames (still car games) from time to time, but now he has a family to take care of, what i mean is that he remembered those good old days of 2000-2001 and that goddamn parking lot music xD

The feels on this is at a great level. My childhood friend introduced this masterpiece to me. He brought it over and we gamed. It was a school night so he couldn't stay over. He insisted that I not walk him home and he left the game with me. On that faithful night he was shot and killed. I still have this and Driver 2 safely stashed in my closet.

Couldn't beat the tutorial mission as a kid so I would just play on survival in Miami and SF because the physics would crack me up. Me and my cousin used to compete to see who could go out of bounds in survival mode because the cops were so aggressive sometimes you could get sent flying.

in a way its about the second hardest mission in the game (hardest is the presidents run at the end) you literally arent equipped at all for the tutorial mission unless you read the manual thoroughly or spotted the option in the menu that shows you a run of it.
