DRIVER DECIDES TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP INSTEAD OF GETTING OVER

The driver went passed a yield sign, then decided to come to a dead stop as I was merging behind her. She then moved to the right lane and turned 200ft later. I was doing 5mph under the speed limit with no traffic behind me, and used my turn signal.

Nah, she had a yield and should had stopped if she wanted to wait for me to get over to the right lane. I used my signal, slowed down to give her more room, and she just nailed the brakes. You don't go into traffic and just hit your brakes because you want to get over.

@@NOTSOSLIMJIM I believe you should have stayed in the right lane, passed the other driver, then move into the left lane ahead of them, instead of moving into the left lane where that other driver wanted to go, or you could have slowed down and moved into the left lane sooner to avoid a collision instead of trying to out-maneuver the other driver. Always expect the unexpected !

@This2That1 I did slow down, it's in the description. The lady wanted to make the turn 200ft down the road to the right. Instead of waiting at the yield for me to pass so she could get all the way over, she merged into the left lane and nailed the brakes after seeing my turn signal. That, or she didn't look at all to the lane as she merged. None of that changes the fact you don't merge and come to a complete stop in the road.
