Having grown-up in Aurora Illinois the far west stop for BNSF Metra and the busy "race track" into Chicago I learned from a young age to not second guess the gates. With more than one set of tracks you never know what's coming.

When i see people going around down crossing gates it reminds me of the time I saw a bicyclist going around the gates unfortunately the train won that one. I remember hearing the train horn and emergency brakes being applied then the impact wish people would think twice before going around down crossing gates like that.

The day after Hurricane Irma went by I found myself with a friend and our two dogs going from Tampa to Sebring. There was a RR crossing with the gates down and the lights going. On that trip there was another car which had been waiting for the "train". After 15 minutes went by, all of us realized that the possibility of a train running during such a huge hurricane was 0. So we both crossed the tracks. It was the only time I ever did anything like that.

It’s basically a running gag by adding the PAC-Man arcade game sound effect in, because the letter C on the end of the older Canadian Pacific engines look exactly like the PAC-Man character. Those of us who’s seen or played the game back in the 1980s remember the arcade game. And CP was using that PAC-Man shaped letter C a good couple of decades as part of its logo before the game PAC-Man was ever invented.
