This is some cool shit right here, do you know if it will be possible to film your stint in the car during the race, I don’t know what you are filming on camera wise in respect to battery life but if it’s possible that would be awesome

bjorn karth I am just using a gopro so it wouldn't last long enough. But I'm not sure if the race organization will let me race with a camera on my helmet for safety reasons. I was lucky to get away with it yesterday though

What a lap in one amazing car. This might be a noob question, but what was the top speed you got on the strait, and was it difficult at first to go from right hand drive to left hand drive(or the other way)? Anyways keep it up guy.

Hey Edwin, the learning curve to switch from right hand drive (SA) to left hand drive (95% of GT cars) was actually quite easy, it took maybe 3 laps the first time I drove a GT car to get used to it. Top speed in a GT3 car is not that high, ± 280kph.

Have you tried 488 GT3 in Assetto Corsa or iRacing? How they compare to the real one? :)

Hey Artur, the car model in the new Assetto Corsa Competizione is probably the most accurate representation of the 488 GT3. iRacing also has a good model and with the Motec data we are able to get the setups quite similar but most of the sims miss out on the details we experience under braking. I am working with closely Assetto on improving this element.

Pretty common for them to move during a stint from the bumps and G-Force. You are looking so far ahead that you barely notice it though.

@@DavidPerel I wondered because you actually don't have too much vision to begin with and the wipers from the angel of the camera perspective are exactly in the line of view. Can't one enable the wiper for a second for it to auto-center itself?

@@Egotime07 yes we have a wiper button but you only use it in a few cases: if you notice the wiper is in the way 🙈 and if you're in practice. If you're in the middle of a dry race and you press it you risk smudging oil across your screen which has accumulated from the car in front of you. So unless it's raining I always avoid pressing the button in case of oil on the screen. That being said... It's rare that I notice the wiper.
