That's the mechanic. He's always plugged in when we're pushing, talking to the pilots and then stands by the nose gear to watch the engines start, then pulls the gear pin out and signals the wing walkers to wave off the aircraft. Those guys are technically line maintenance. I don't think they do heavy aircraft repair.
