Before anyone asks about that short section of 130kph running through Rockbank - it's because the up track through there used to be a crossing loop before the line was duplicated and they haven't gotten around to upgrading it yet. The section from Caroline Springs to Sunshine is because they didn't bother upgrading the up track during RFR, instead opting for bi-directional signalling on both tracks which was abolished in that section when the RRL was built.

Great vids, ever done an over the shoulder view, I think the punters would love to see that, so they can see how you operate the PBC, on second thoughts maybe not 🤫 Also wondering if you’ve done any with a narrower field of view, it’ll look slower but may help get the detail in the distance that’s very hard to see with a wide angle

@@mexicanbatman666 I haven't shown operating the controls due to security concerns although I agree, it would be interesting to a lot of people. Also, I use a gopro which doesn't have a zoom lens so haven't done any with a narrower field of view. Glad you are enjoying the videos. 👍😀

Nice video. 😊 Just wondering do you need to be a conductor before becoming a train driver? And do many of the conductors in V/Line actually wanna become a train driver one day? Or could they continue to be conductors if they really enjoy it?

@@nathanaelsliferecords6850 don't need to be a conductor to start. Some conductors enjoy being a conductor, others would like to drive. Everyone has a different wish. 😀 Glad you enjoyed the video 👍😀

@@OfficalMelbourneGreenQuad parwan is a crossing loop. Trains normally stay on the straight track unless they are passing another train. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
