Hi & Thanks for this upload...Its so depressing to see a single rail track from Bairnsdale to Traralgon (its 2024 for crying out loud)...I lived in Traralgon for a few months back in 2015 so used this train a number of times, during that time I also took the train out to Sale.

@@akhalif68 for the amount of traffic on the line, single track is all that is needed. There are other projects along the line that have been happening that need to be built to allow more trains. Very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride. 👍😀

From Moe to Traralgon it is a single line and will stay that way for a very long time.

Although planned, it was never double tracked when the rest of the line was double tracked back in the 1950's due to the cost of another Bunyip river bridge. 👍😊

That siding is not new, it has been there for years. The only changes at Traralgon lately have been the ongoing resignalling and reintroduction of the original platform as a second useable platform. 👍😊
