Saw the steam engine fired up and ready to go,one time,unfortunately did not have time to book a trip.Incidentally,that is on helluva shed,that would be my dream home!IB

Never new there was such a large and long platform at Lakers Siding. Was this just built for the tourist railway?

There was a siding for many years of railway operation but the platform was built by the tourist railway. 👍😊

I've seen some critters crossing the tracks in some vids, a Kangaroo, and what looked like a big black cat, are there Panthers, or leopards in Aussie ??

Only in the zoo. There are stories but no proof of any in the wild. 👍😀

Did notice that there is some new looking concrete sleepers, are thenew or second hand from another state ?

it should be 5.3 gauge

It used to be broad gauge. After it was closed, the tourist railway converted the line to 3' 6". 👍😊
