@@arinpunk the red flag mattered 100%. Max had not pitted yet to change tires, if the red flag didn't happen he would of had to pit putting Lando and George in front of him and both Alpine cars. Red flag comes out Max and the Alpines get a "free" tire change with out losing any position. It was a gamble by all parties involved. Red Bull and Alpine just got lucky with the flag, as Norris has noted multiple times "lucky."

This is what he doesn’t understand about racing, it’s not JUST about the car, it’s also about the driver, and a champion mentality. For him to just roll over now, because it will be hard, tells you everything that you need to know about Lando. His only hope now is to be able to wait until Max gets bored of winning, and move onto to another sport.

It's funny how people are always saying Norris is so self critical... He seems to lack any self reflection here. Mclaren has had the fastest car for a large part of the season, he's had his teammate help him and sacrifice for him, yet there's still 62 points gap between him and Max. That's in large part thanks to him and his many bottles.

As a fan, i was not bothered by the different teams having their separate launches and the different ways in which they'd present that. it's more content spread out as well. Next year we'll just get it once, and in the way f1 wants to present it, which undoubtedly will be cringe.

Norris has already given up. He knows that he was like an amateur in Brazil. Max will definitely win his 4th title in Vegas. This is, and I suspect, Lando's last chance he will ever have to be World Champion. Max will definitely be crowned 4 times champion, and Norris will have to go back to basics to learn why he consistently converts a pole position into a losing position after 3 corners. A great driver, but nowhere near good enough yet.

Norris still believes that Max was lucky just as Norris himself was lucky in Miami. Man is such a sore loser that even after 2 weeks he can't accept the brilliance of Max in the wet, finishing more than 19 seconds ahead of second place after starting 17th and setting 17 fastest laps of the race. Atleast Russell was vigilant and was asking the team to wait for the pit stop as he was quite sure that it was going to go red due to the amount of water on track Norris couldn't foresee this . Talent is also reading a situation well and not just driving. Further max had to pull off overtake every lap yet he kept it on the track, whereas Norris with his history of race starts f* cked up the first corner and also f*cked up on the safety car restart where he went wide

And a slap on the wrist for going off track and gaining a position.. And for that a measly 5K euro fine and a "warning". Anyone else time penalty at least.. British bias trying hard as possible to give LN the chip. But he's not up to it maybe next year, Then again I think Piastri will no longer give in to him.. should be spicy next year! :)

Maybe because it’s a fact? Max was lucky in Brazil. He was far down the grid and needed some luck to get up further quickly. Nobody in his position would have pitted because they all knew it was going to be a safety car. If Lando had started 17th, he would have stayed out as well knowing he would have needed a safety car to get back to the podium. The fact Max made the pass on Ocon isn’t massively impressive but stretching the gap to 19 seconds is. The leader always dictates the pace in the wet but even still, it was an impressive performance. You can’t however say that Lando wouldn’t have made a 19 second gap to Ocon if he was in that position. When you get caught in traffic in the rain it’s extremely difficult to pass. Lando and George pitted because new inters would be the best strategy. Gambling on a safety car coming out is the absolute worst strategy possible, but when it does come out and you haven’t pitted… you are LUCKY. Stop trying to belittle him for absolutely no reason. Grow up and change your attitude towards the drivers. It’s people like you that make this world miserable. Oh and fyi before you reply trying to insult me with whatever Lando names are fashionable for haters right now, I’m a massive Verstappen fan.

People blowing Norris' remark about max's luck way out of proportion. The red flag not just bunched everyone up again in brazil, but allowed the cars that hadn't pitted a free tyre change. That's luck.

Lando had the same "luck" then, he and his team made the wrong call. The rules are not discriminatory. All the teams were in the same circumstance, some chose to pit and some chose to stay out. That's how the real world works, buddy, your actions have consequences

With that logic Lando has had also "luck" in the qualifying when the red flag came out and Max couldn't finish his run in Q2. I mean Max could've started from P6 instead of P17 if he'd had the chance to win the quali, so all the discussions about luck are quite unneccessary
