It’s a double edged sword. So many women have been raped by Uber drivers who locked them in. But if I was in a cab in an area like Coney Island which is known to be wild, I’d want my doors locked too. Maybe cab drivers should have to ask the passenger would you like me to lock the doors for our safety?
