Joel, I'm glad you liked this too! It sounds like I might have liked it a little more than you, but both of us give a thumbs up!

+TheGameBoyGeek - Hi Quality Hi Energy Board Game Reviews It's just a bit more casual "feeling" than my normal fare. But, it's definitely good at what it's trying to do.

+Drive Thru Review I agree! It's the co-operative aspect, accessibility, and the quick time to play that is going to keep this coming to the table very often for me.

Just a quick note. In your example city your duplex tile is placed sideways which is not allowed. Great game, lovely components and very accessible for all types of gamers.

+Lori MacKenzie Thanks. Didn't notice that.

I wouldn't call 7 Wonders a gateway game either. I have tried it with a few newer players, and I have had more trouble with it than I thought I would. I think there's just a little too much going on. Playing this for the first time today (not counting a few PnP plays), backed it earlier in the year. Stonemaier can go ahead and sign me up for auto back on anything they want to throw out there.

After our 1st play, we all were like "this needs more tile types." After like 2 or 3 plays, won't it get terribly repetitive?

I put it in the same category as Sushi Go or something like that. I'm not really looking for a whole lot out of it in terms of replayabilty. That being said, I think there's definitely some here. I've played it 6 times and Id play it some more with a casual group.

Excellent point! Let it be known I posted that before their horrifying, devastating, season losing collapse.
