F.21 Error Code Cleared and Washer Repair

In this video Driveway Dudes Paul shows you how to clear the F.21 error code, fault find and fix a Bosch washer yourself. Other makes of washers may be the same or similar.
Why pay a repair person hundreds when you can do it yourself for the price of the parts (€£$20) and about an hour of your time.
Please think safety - Disconnect mains electricity and water feed before attempting this.
And have some rags or towels as you may have to allow for some water spillage
Just 3 tools needed, a T20 bit, 10mm spanner/wrench and a needle nose pliers.

DUDE thank you soooo much. I followed the instructions and it’s working now. Had to replace the carbon brushes! The Mrs was pushing for a new one but when I saw your video I knew that was the issue and it could be serviced. Too expensive to call someone out. So chuffed!

How do you reset it so it’s not f21 as you have LSA no f21 but whenever I drain the filter the f21 message is still shown with no lights etc.

I have the exact same model but whereas your spin speed lights are changing when you hold the button in, mine do no light up at all. i am wondering if that is why i cannot get the fault code to reset. I repalced the drain pump as the impeller was cracked and let water inside the pump, i also replaced the motor brushes as they were down to less than 10mm in length. Any assistance you could give me, greatly appreciated.

Initially it took us several attempts to reset it.
