Crazy I just brought my first Lexus today. It was an AWD 2013 GS350. I almost didn't get it because it has 108K miles on it but the dealer assured me it was better than me buying the 2015 BMW 4 Series with only 70K miles on it. Told me not to let the mileage on the Lexus fool me. It was the better buy. I test drove it and the mf felt like a brand new car no lie. Most comfortable but sporty car I've driven to date. Glad I brought it seeing how long people have been saying they last.

Engine still sounds amazing at over 200k miles! I bought a white on red 2016 three years ago with 41k miles, now with 73k miles & planning on keeping it for a very long time. Still feels just as solid as a new one. I really couldn't ask for a better car!

Does it still drive well? I know a guy who has one with 170k miles and it still runs great! Great video portraying Lexus reliability.

Yes, I called the buyer about a month ago to check in. All good, he drives it daily.

At what miles did you have to Reseal timing im asking because I have 2013 gs Fsport 175k miles runs great just wondering should I keep it or try to get rid of it

When we took it in on trade. Around 207k.

I would not be scarred of it. I bought a well maintained 2008 Lexus GX 470 with 160k. Lexus quality is the best. If possible, I would always recommend having a technician at Lexus to look at it and talk to a service advisor about potential future maintenance and repairs.

damn 200,000 miles! what have you replaced on it so far? I have the same exact one at 148k

Pulling the Lexus Service history, We traded for it and did probably the most costly repair ever on it, timing cover reseal and a cv boot, so that was a fairly major repair, but worth it on this vehicle. The GS still smelled good, handled great. Before that normal brakes and such. Life of Car $8256 spent on service and repairs.

Could be a great car, but I would still get an inspection from your Local lexus dealer or trusted mechanic.

Price is about fair. Try to get it at 13.5k and you have a good deal. Either way, even paying 14.5k if the car has been maintained properly it will run for a long time still. Good buy I would say. 👍🏼

Got mine for 8k more miles for a 13k base price and then with taxes and stuff the stealership got me to around 16k out the door

They are common on the 2GR series. It should be fairly easy to seal the timing cover on this iteration, the 2GRFSE because it's longitudinally mounted. The regular 2gr-fe are very expensive to repair and you have to drop the engine.

@@kiankooros225 no i dont believe u have to remove the engine because the timing cover faces the front of the car. the regular 2gr in camry etc its transverse mounted meaning the timing cover is on the passenger side and u have to remove engine to re seal it

Never seen that on a 2013 GS, what year and model is your Lexus? Some older models had recalls, so take it to your local Lexus service department,
