I have driven most of my old Audis all over creation. The 10v 5cylinder turbo and na gave me some issues. The 20v 5cylinders (turbo and na) have been really solid. I racked up well over 400k miles on my 1991 Audi 20v avant. She still runs strong! This UR quattro is fantastic. It still looks awesome in and out (love that interior color) and that exterior color and wheel combo is amazing! And yeah, unless you upgrade the lights to euro spec they are like two birthday cake candles...nearly worthless on the dark roads.

Thats awesome! Some friends of mine have also put some serious miles on their old 5cyl turbos so they told me not to worry. The car did great!

Just discovered your video what a great car and scenery! I've been a quattro fan since age 10 in 82 here in the UK. I'd put stock 15" alloys on with high profile tyres and smoke those dirt roads! 😉👍

Nicely done! These old Quattros are overcomplicated in some parts of their engineering, and a fuel management solution from the stone age... I fully understand your hesitation and being cautious. Euro lights aren't exactly too good either, relay the lamps and save the light switch from melting out on current and consider aux etc. Like this summer, the squeeky noise of my steering wheel that suddenly went away - turned out to be Mr. Bigfoot kicking the foam-plate over the pedals into the steering column...

Haha thannks! I think a lot of people dont understand that you cant just drive to an autoparts store in the US and find parts for it. Makes it a little scary sometimes. The car was absolutely solid though!

40 year old euro car that's not easy to get parts for. Meaning some wear items probably are past due, but haven't been replaced because of availability. As a car enthusiast anytime I drive a distance in my project cars I too worry about things. Its normal to worry about a vehicle being able to make a drive, Ive seen brand new vehicle break shortly after leaving the lot. Just enjoy the video because it was well made. Great camera angles, solid edits, and the locations are down right beautiful.

40 years old car is relative new one? 🤣 Ok, I note it, if you say so. 🤣
