Sparks like that at the points might mean bad condenser. Check the battery. Looks like a good service will sort out most of the problems.

Ha, that was so entertaining. For these reasons: I'm in Australia and you were in my old neighbourhood. Johnnie 4, is better than Johnnie 5. Google that one, its So relevant! Points that are dry just wear out super quick and need a drop of oil on the can... I owned a beetle or two 😂..... Merry Christmas Josh... Thx for all your BMW content...

I had a phase 1 Clio 172 and that had a bonnet that would pop up sometimes too. Had to run bonnet pins. Funny how Renaults all have the same faults 😂

Sold mine this year. A 73 Portuguese made. Awesome cars but the frames rots very easily on these cars, even on dry areas. Might have to get another one 😅

You must have the patience of a Saint. That wid dae ma box in. Having been driving/working on cars since the middle 60's the Renault 4 was never my go to car. Come to think about Renaults of that era were absolutely famous for their unreliable electrics/bodywork. Ask me how i know.? I once had a Gold card with Rac, Home start.. Not to worry i am havn fun watchin you havin fun. Love yer channel . Keep up the good work. Merry Xmas to you and yours.
