The polaris is used for excursions were the weight of the main trucks would result in them getting bogged constantly. It's also used to launch the boats sometimes.

Hi Jase, love your show, looking at getting new tow rig wirh Rtt and kitched canopy on back. Which vehical would you recommen between the creative conversions chopped landcruiser GRS pre reg or the new chevy 1500 silverado with both vehicals with gvm 4200kg/gcm and BTC 4200kg as we will be towing aprox 3500kg van around AU. I have done Carson River Track (called Oombulgurri Track by the locals). It is challenging - high chance of car damage. . I think there are far less ‘incidents for Viewers’ than 24/7

Problem with the Chevy is its not ment to be modified to that extreme its overloaded a bed rack with an accessory tent and a roll out bed system would have kept the weight down could see all your weight problems in your rollover video poor Chevy sorry but sometime less is more.

I assume because a 12,000 pound winch won’t cut it when the truck and trailer together are about 14,000 pounds plus if it’s bogged in mud the suction will add even more weight. So I’m assuming it’s for that. I’d like to know how they are both being powered if that’s the case though!
