Stuck in the sand, run out the winch and dig a land anchor. Bury a tire or an actual sand anchor, then hook it and book it.

meanwhile,,while metal detecting,,the roofs dissapear under water.. more use for metal detectors.. maybe paint them orange,,easier to see,, ever thought or tried fitting a 4ft strap..orange,,of course..beaches are the scariest thing. i allways go down to 10 psi.. 15 rocks. we have 4x4 people that think 20 is enough.. met some vics,,would not go lower.. bogged..

why dont you carry6 or 8 max tracks and have a rope tied to them and when you are clear of them you will drag them behind you and you wont have to walk and dig in the mud or sand to find them.
