Thanks, exactly what I needed to get a feel for the place.

Thanks for posting this . Have a son who works at the hospital there . Have not been able to visit him because of the Covid 19 restrictions . Your drive through showed the place to be nice . He loves the place by the way.

8:09 Cable Beach - Where the first major under-ocean telegraph/telephone cable came ashore connecting Australia to the rest of the world. It's a great place to see beautiful sunsets on the Indian Ocean and take a ride one of the sunset camel caravans on the beach.

3:10 Sun Pictures! I Saw "Absolutely Fabulous - The Movie" there in 2016. The show was slightly interrupted in this open-air venue by the noise and landing lights of an inbound flight to the Broome International (!) Airport. That said, what a historical place - the oldest continuously-operating motion picture theater in the Southern Hemisphere if not the entire world. I would go back there to visit in a heartbeat.

When I was young we used to go to the movies there and out feet would get wet from the king rides 😊

Wow it’s changed that’s what happens when the Lordy turns up and turns it into a little version ofPerth Thank you for the opportunity of seeing it in the 70s it was a sleepy little town yummy cheap food yes it was nice

Not quite what I expected, constantly told by some friends that it's like Cairns but drier. Hmm , not really . it's like a small country town on the coast that you find all around Australia. Bit like Cooktown actually. Cairns is a small very modern cosmopolitan city compared to this. There is no comparison . thanks for the video.

I found it a very beautiful place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there, It's a very quiet boing town & also a very isolated place. There is a reason most tourist only stop in for 2 or 3 days.....

I don't think that side of the country cares too much for tourists kinda like north Queensland ...but the rest of the country is consumer friendly entertainment wise I would say the best inbetween is Byron bay or tweed heads it's quiet but party vibes and it's beautiful but not isolated.i grew up in Townsville and wasn't until I moved to Ballarat I realised I was spoilt I went out in search of something better ....but found only... tweed heads...Byron bay.....Eden ...lakes entrance....Whitsundays Airlie beach...aaaaaand Jindabyne

As an American foreigner who has visited Broome, the activity you refer to showed me that, even in Paradise, there is injustice and evility. A James Anderson said above, "What's your point?" If you are looking for perfection in life, good luck in your futile search.
