The only people on the street were tourists, so I'd have to image that they reopened it by this point. I'm sure it was closed for a great long while, though.

I love this Video, nonetheless! I also drove down ALL of these streets for many years, and LOVE Chicago. Went to Loyola University and Northwestern. Moved out in 2020 during Covid, and sold the house. Bought a WAY cheaper house in the Southern Burbs near Indiana, and LOVE IT! However, I had great times in Chicago for over 30 years, and no hundreds of people there. Taught Golf and Tennis for 17 years. Thanks for this video, and Happy and Safe Travels!

@hyemuhyemu8221 Truth! .. and Chicago is stunningly beautiful, cleaner than most cities, has great educational institutions, world-class entertainment, and museums, and has soooo many free things to do! Unfortunately, facts don't matter to the people with this talking point.

@yemu8221 Chicago ain't even the most dangerous city in Illinois. The city gets a bad rap because it's such a big and well known city and anything that happens there will make more headlines than lets say Indianapolis or Gary or wherever. But in reality there are way more dangerous cities in the US.
