Being so close to the river, wouldnt it be suceptable to storm surge from the bay?
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS3 ай бұрын
Bradenton has never had more than 4 feet of storm surge. Also, parrish and Lakewood ranch have areas where the elevation is like 30 some feet. See an elevation map you will see.

Ok. Still looks kind of desolate but I’ll check it out.

Its a small town for sure. But has some things

Not a lot of traffic! That’s a plus! A lot of space to be developed

That’s a lie it’s overdeveloped & a joke now. We hate the nonstop building!!

It’s out in the middle of nowhere. Just like Babcock Ranch.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS3 ай бұрын
I disagree. I have lived 20 mins from Babcock and from parrish, theres 100x more things to do up here. LWR has everything. look at a map of both places, you will see the differance.

i do agree with you about the remoteness of Parrish but it reflects in the current prices. The development and price increases will soon follow. The one thing you have to keep in mind is that being so far north, it still kinda gets cold in the winter months. 40s are common.

Lakewood Ranch used to be out in the middle of nowhere at one time. Parrish is a Hub to beaches, I-4, shopping, the river, Siesta Key....

This is where I live! Great area! It’s much quieter and there are far fewer homeless ppl than in Bradenton.

From the video, I see there’s a railroad crossing right by the railroad museum. Do you know if trains come through daily often? I’m wondering if it affects the people in the Crosswinds community about 5 minutes away. It’s also not just the noise that would be a concern. It’s also the vibrations. Given Florida houses are often made of block construction at least on the first floor, I wonder if that would even still be a factor.
