Bro, I was feeling homesick for Matton ILL and Arcola ILL and this really helped. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for doing this.

You drove in a block circle around the house I used to live in (Presbyterian Church manse) but never went right by it.

My Hometown! The Arcola Purple Riders, Winning Traditions in Football State Championships! You only drove through the East Side of town. The West Side has the older homes plus the HS built in 1916 with castle towers and still in use 👍

Needs to be asked, where is everybody? Seems to be a trademark of just about every small town, all are virtually deserted. I am looking in from Australia, where this is quite the opposite.

you know what these little towns don't have? speedbumps. when the locals are accountable to each other you don't get the maniacs that speed through neighborhoods. old brick paved streets help also.

I just remembered something funny. For some reason when I first moved there, I had to report something to the police. So I drove over there and they were closed.

Must be the beginning of winter or the end of fall. We don't have that here in Honolulu.
