Reminds me of my childhood. Every Saturday we would drive to my grandparents house down in North Carolina, and we would spend the whole day there. We would drive home at night and I would spend the whole drive back playing on my game boy and occasionally looking out the window to see what’s going on. One of my favourite parts of my childhood. Thanks for the vid!

My absolute favourite time to drive, the rain, dark and a slight bit of cold air conditioning and listening to the drone of the diesel engine in the background as the rain gently taps the roof and slithers down onto the windscreen, where the wipers gently push them away. I'm surprised I'm not dead yet considering they amount of times I almost fell asleep doing it.

I sometimes do that too. Then again, I choose backroads with alot of bends and turns. The typical kind of roads where 2nd or 3rd gear will suffice. I have been loving driving at night ever since I was a kid and watching the reflections of orange/yellow-ish street lights move over the windshields has always made me feel safe and relaxed and usually put me to speep after a while. Today, I sometimes go for night drives in my own car, just to take in the calm atmosphere of the empty roads, the fresh air and the city lights, listening to calm music. It sometimes helps me to think about my worries or struggles in life.

night time drives were always magical to me, as they are for a lot of people, but discovering this video as a teen, 4 years ago, and experiencing that feeling watching streets so far away from home really had an impact on me. first i felt connected to other people who treasure these drives, than lonely seeing the yellow light on wet concrete and feeling my hand holding the phone, then melancholy remembering when i used to hear the rain and motorcycles before drifting into sleep in my grandma's house as a child, then disappointed i wasn't wherever the video was recorded hearing the wheels first hand, then at peace with the numbing white noise. now there's also a bittersweetness when i come back here from time to time because of the nostalgia of watching the video itself again. i feel outside of my reality watching it. i mean yes, it's a silent video of someone driving. yes, it struck a cord. also, glad i'm not the only one.

I’m very affected by my environment and it’s been hard not being in my own home during this time. I was panicking and trying different things to feel at peace. Came across this, had my phone next to me while I laid here thinking about life, looking at my candle burning. These types of videos are really calming and, I know I'm young, but it makes me feel awfully nostalgic. It really brings me back to those long ass car rides we would take when visiting my grandma's house. I live in a big city and my grandma lived downtown. Whenever we took these trips, 8-year-old me would gaze at the tall buildings and beyond them, watching as the white moon followed me to my grandma's and back home. To really bring back the mood, I open a new tab and play 'Bobby Caldwell - What You Won't Do For Love (slowed)' because my mom plays the regular version of the song over the aux (even on Saturdays, when it's time to clean lmao). Sigh.. thanks for posting this!

Thank you for your uploading this. This is so comforting to listen to. Sleeping in a moving car is one of the most cozy things. It’s like a moving home where none can harm you or catch you.

I never thought to look for a video of this kind. I spend many, many hours being driven around the country to various gigs, and I really enjoy the freedom. The leaving things behind and just driving into what seems like oblivion. I feel really calm the second I sit down in the car, knowing that I have prepared well and can now sit and just zone out, listening to the rain on the car windows and the roads. Nice one.

These kind of videos take me back to when I was much younger and my parents would return from our relative’s on the freeway for 2-3hrs until we got back. It was fun watching the environment change from city to countryside while slowly drifting off to sleep.

This is excellent. The same lulling sensation I used to get laying down in the back seat of my parents car as a kid. Very relaxing as long as I dont watch... Ive never driven on the left side of the road and I kept having this feeling like you were going to hit someone head on lol! Thank you for recording this great job!

Takes me back to a simpler time in my life where me and my family would take long trips to do things together and me and my siblings falling asleep in the back seat after a wonderful day, these times were the most peaceful as there wouldn't be any arguing, yelling or fighting, just a long peaceful drive home. I'm certain there was never any issues sleeping during these occasions and I thank you for helping me tremendously by simulating a world where I can relax.

It gives me such a good feeling. I imagine I'm coming back home after doing something in the shopping mall. I'm alone at my car, it's night and it's about to rain. I keep thinking about many things of my life and there are only a few dim lights inside the car, which come from the dashboard. Thank for this. It was like a dream of mine.

Makes me feel like a kid, my parents used to do this when I couldn’t sleep, they would put me in the car than drive somewhere until I fall asleep.

I love nights like this. On two-day trips halfway across the country to visit my grandparents. The hum of the car always got me to sleep.

Great video. Real relaxing. Is that Picasso a 2.0 HDI? Best they ever offered! Also, are those tunnels on/near Anglesey? I'm heavily reminded of the ones near the island in this video, but I've never driven through them at night...

Damn, I remember when we drove 10 hours to get our puppy, Bella back in 2011. It rained alot and she slept on me the entire time and it was so cozy. This reminded me of that long trip, I'll never forget the day we got her.

When you have finished your favourite Netflix series and after being sad that it's finally over, you then think about the distant future and if you'll be happy or not with someone you love, for anyone who sees this I wish that you will finally meet that special person and have a stable life, enjoyable meaty bit of life.

Thank you so much for this:) My grandpa and I talk often when hes driving his truck for his job, and it rains sometimes. I always imagine myself riding along with him for hours just joking, and goofing off, and he always sends me the most breathtaking pictures. Thanks again.
