Nice! My first Volvo was a 940 Turbo estate, which I still have and love. I drove a V70 for a couple of years. Nice car, reliable overall, but endless complicated and expensive issues. Sold it. The brick era rear drive Volvos are just so simple and solid, quietly and comfortably doing their job without fuss. I just bought a NA 940 wagon for peanuts as a beater. Nearly 300,00 miles, beat to hell, Looks awful, but drives like new. Makes me think these are the best cars ever made. 😉

Just discoverd this channel :) Happy to see a red 940 estate as I´m owning one as well. Got a 96 model with the low pressure turbo. Love how simple these cars are, nothing distracts you from driving. Looking forward to more videos of Bricky. Greetings from Germany.

Well done, Fella - you've bagged a classic car for shed car money. The heated seat switches can be prised apart and re-fettlled. A fine file, fine wet and dry and paper, a pencil to provide dry lubricant to the brass rocker strip and a lot of patience and you'll get there. I'm looking forward to the series as I've made the eccentric decision to use a 940 wagon as a daily.

Had a manual 91 945 manual. Swapped it for a new Volvo 855 manual that I still have. 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Ive got a green estate a very good friend gave me in April. I love it but Im getting a lambda light and unpredictable cut out with more recently the strong smell of petrol. Diagnostics are a nightmare cos nobodys device picks anything up. Fuel pump an educated guess, but any ideas gratefully received. I cannot take the car outside a 40 zone at the moment cos of this.

hummm strange, i would say first check your fuel lines tank to throttle body, if one is perished the pump will not be able to give full pressure, or you are correct and the fuel pump is failing. Lambda light could be that the lambda sensor has failed and the car is in a kind of limp mode. hope you fix it good luck
