I’m from Las Vegas where all of the nicer homes are in gated communities. Trust me these gates and or high walls aren’t keeping anyone out! I’d rather have a high fence and gate/wall around my actual home rather then just in a community

Driving through Bel Aire like this does show that the streets are beautiful but you can't see the homes. The neighborhood is purposely set up that way. These homes are not meant to be viewed by people driving by. It's all high hedges, large trees, walls and gates. It is a beautiful part of L.A. and that's why it is an exclusive high value area. It sits in the wooded hills that are a part of the Santa Monica mountains which stretch from downtown L.A. to the Pacific Ocean which includes other exclusive neighborhoods likeNeverly Hills, Holmby Hills, West Hollywood, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Coldwater Canyon, Benedict Canyon, Los Feliz, Laurel Canyon, Beverly Glen, Old Hollywood Hills, etc... I grew up there at the beach and my grandparents house where my mom and uncle grew up is in Beverlywood, down on the flats below the Hills of Bel Aire and Beverly Hills. The houses and streets aren't as hidden but still valued at $3 million and up. I work in these neighborhoods pretty often with my business.

@@blockboygames5956 --- I don't mind you asking. I am a licensed electrical contractor. I do mostly service, troubleshooting, installs, commercial and residential work. Normally more than half of my work is doing electrical on locations for all the major film and tv studios and production companies. But, that has recently ended temporarily because of the writers being on strike. If it was only the writer's guild not working there still would be some production because scripts get written in advance, most of the time but, the Teamsters are showing their support for the writers by going on strike also which means no truck drivers, no transportation for crew, talent, equipment, props, etc... so when the Teamsters stop working, no one works. Hopefully the strike will end before too long. The negotiations aren't going too well, still from last I heard. Working on locations lets me work on some of the most famous, historical, most expensive, exclusive, places in LA and SoCal from mansions, cathedrals, restaurants, hotels, private homes, city and county and state parks, historic buildings, hospitals, even the poorest ghetto housing, cemetaries, movie stars homes, notoriously haunted homes and hotels. It's always an adventure. Hahahaha

@@pioter7575 --- I wouldn't know. Anything is possible. I've done some amazing things in my life just because I wanted to see if it was possible and the odds were against me but I was able to accomplish them. As long as you don't break any laws at the most you will be disappointed in the end if it doesn't happen. But, you'll never know unless you try. You can go through life wondering, what if, or, I should have, or you can say, I tried my best, if it doesn't happen. Or maybe you'll get lucky.

looks like the roads are being prepped for resurfacing . you can see the shirt i inch or so edge on the curbing where it goes down to the road where it’s been scraped up you can see some of the equipment being used at 12:47

Do you see any potholes that aren't patched? When you're actually driving on these streets you're not focused on every little crack like the camera is. The condition of these streets is the last thing you're likely to notice when driving on them.

Well we know most of the homes behind those gates and hedges are going to be beautiful...but I have to say...if I'm spending $10 to $20 million for one...I'd want my streets and access roads looking like a magic kingdom..and not the rag-tag beat up streets in a low income ghetto....like these do. Welcome to California. Overall, you would think that with all the gas tax we pay our roads would be impeccable. I live in northern California. We had a report from our city and I believe county that our town has over $10 million worth of deferred road maintenance and it shows. They only have about $1 million budgeted towards road repair and maintenance.
