Gramado is a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is located in Serra Gaúcha, more precisely in the Region of Hortênsias, at latitude 29º 22' 44" south and longitude 50º 52' 26" west, at an altitude of 830 meters. Its estimated population in 2018 is 35,875 inhabitants.[3] It has an area of ​​237,019 square kilometers. Its main access is via the RS-115, although it is also served by the RS-235 and RS-373 highways.
The municipality of Gramado was created by Law 2 522, of December 15, 1954, after being emancipated from the city of Taquara. The region was inhabited by Caingangues Indians and, later, it was colonized by descendants of Azoreans, German and Italian immigrants. Its demographics are ethnically varied, with strong German and Italian influences, which is particularly reflected in its cuisine and urban and rural architecture. Gramado was also colonized, in smaller numbers, by the Portuguese, Syrians and Lebanese. With an economy focused on tourism, the city annually receives millions of national and foreign tourists.

É incrível como as cidades aqui do interior do estado lembram muito algumas cidades Européias, sei que tem aquela parada de colonização etc... mas eu digo mais pelo aspecto mesmo, o cuidado em manter tudo limpo e organizado, coisa que não vemos muito aqui na capital.
