DRIVING - Bucharest to Bulgaria for lunch and back! - | Part 2 🇧🇬 🇷🇴

Guys this is Part 2 of a 7 hour day trip from my home in Bucuresti (Bucharest) in Romania to Silistra in Bulgaria for lunch and then back home!

I made this video to clear the head after a busy couple of weeks working and to show how close we are to Bulgaria. Its only a 90 min drive directly South to the border crossing at Ruse, or 75 kms.
Then drove from Ruse to Silistra, about 120kms East along the Northern border with Romania, following the Danube. Left at 0800, got to Silistra about 1230, had lunch and headed back to Bucharest by 3pm!

Romania has fulfilled all the conditions for joining Schengen since 2011; it will be a big scandal if they don't give us the green light to join. The nationalist parties will get many votes in Romania.

Nice trip . I like to ,, travel virtual,, with you . Thanks . 👍🙌 Romania must be in Schengen , it will be this year , or maybe next year , even EU recommends. Romania is fully prepared to join Schengen . But Holland is afraid because we have an important port: ,, Constanta port,, 😉… money talk. 😉

Yep money talks lol. We should be in Schengen now and using Euro but will see. I prefer keeping Lei I think Euro will hyper inflate everything before controls kick in. Mate you welcome to travel virtual with me anytime, next episode you can have virtual lunch with us in Silistra😅👍

Easy border crossing 👌👌👌 And you've got very nice weather. Here in Tbilisi, it's like bloody rain season in Thailand 😄 I dunno what went wrong with weather this summer. In Stepantsminda, it was raining 24/7, except for 3 hours, when i was on the mountain. I thinking about open up a umbrella shop here or see if there's some rice fields, i can buy some stocks in 😁

😂 rice fields...very funny mate. Yeh crazy weather. But summer really kicks in this week here, weeks of 30 plus coming up.
