Driving Dangerous West Baltimore Streets

This video rides through parts of west and southwest Baltimore on streets including Pratt, Fulton, Edmondson and Wilkins. This area is one of the most dangerous in the city and has major problems with abandoned properties and high crime rates. There is some hope though as certain crimes seem to be dropping and abandoned homes are being demolished. On the downside, many of these problems persist and the population of these areas has dropped dramatically (and continues to do so).

Even if it's run down, it looks better when the leaves come with spring and it's turned green. It looks nicer and more friendly. Thank you for the ride.

The street indicators at the beginning were very helpful for maintaining “the space time continuum.” Otherwise, the jarring shifts from one thoroughfare to another are disorienting and perplexing. Why come? I DO remember these scenes from my formative years. Thank THE LORD JESUS, by His grace I have transcendent victory! Peace and love, PWG
