Raw footage of the night scene on International Boulevard in Oakland, CA. This video is raw footage and a hood vlog/documentary. This red-light district is also known for its high volume of prostitution. This video was filmed with a GoPro Hero 10.
Senate Bill 357 is now effective in California (effective 1/1/2023) making loitering with the intent to commit prostitution no longer a crime. Prostitution itself is still a crime, but this law has made it more difficult for law enforcement to combat these issues.
This video is being posted for informational and educational purposes only to let viewers see what is occurring in our communities.

First time I've seen activity up around 43rd in a long time, probably always there, but the "Auto confiscation" period slowed it down.

I live in East Oakland in the late 90S and another part of Oakland in the early 2000s. Too much homeless now; Oakland has become unaffordable for many people, and with no cheap place to turn to, the number of homeless has dramatically increased. This is what blue states do so much better than red states. They employee young women to be ambassadors for their cities. Very friendly and helpful. Often coming right up to the car asking the driver if they need directions. Although, it does seem pretty bad that these women are asked to work such long hours that they don't even have time to change out of their sleepwear before heading to work.
