Driving from Lytton to Merritt | British Columbia Canada

I appreciate being able to follow much of the old CPR railway grade of the Merritt Subdivision (Spences Bridge to Merritt) while watching this video. The route of the old grade is nice and obvious. I especially like the CPR bridge and old level-crossing at the 40:25 mark of the video.

I would love to see trains still running from Spences Bridge to Merritt, but sadly they are long gone.

A nice journey through the mountains, up and down the roads. This time however there was no train to follow as the railway track diverted some place else on the way. Looking forward to your next video.

Yes it is a great drive, and there are many more in BC.

@@SigisTravelVideos As long as I don't look at it or stay in, nothing. The general area is beautiful. Not a place here I don't love. Drove through the Columbia Valley last summer for the first time since I was a kid and was totally blown away.
