Driving from Port Hardy to San Josef Bay. Northern Vancouver island

Okay, this is NOT the road from Port Hardy to San Jo. Pavement ends a few clicks out of Port Hardy, then 1 - 11/2 hours on a logging road. What highway was in the vid?

Is it safe to take pet dogs to San Josef Bay?

Yes, but it’s a long hike and there are some fallen trees along the way

Planning on doing this drive in my mazda3 car. Was there any dirt road/ rough road along your drive there?

The whole road is rigged and the gps signal is very minimal, also the offline google maps were not updated. It was a real adventure. I think a car is fine, but there are some logs fallen on the road and definitely potholes.

@@irinaradulovich369 So why did you only film the tarmac road and none of the gravel / pot holes / fallen logs?🤷‍♂🤦‍♂ This video is pretty pointless tbh
