Thank you for the ride ... After living in the Homestead area for 40 years the Farms were not started by Cubans they were started mostly by Italian-American families. Most of which are still farming in the area today many of the little nurseries you see along the upper part of Krome Avenue are either Mexican or Cuban. And all the parts in the northern part that you're saying is Homestead are not Homestead. City limits of Homestead start at about SW 288 Street.

You do not want to move there. I grew up there. Nice place but the people and the Turkey Point plant are leaking, the water is tainted for sure. My old home, they ruined it. Thanks for the film, those palm tree farms are owned by old coke families ha.

Not really lol. He just went on Krome avenue which is just the commercial ag road of miami dade really. the road next to the swamp basically for main travel and trade.
