Would you buy the 2024 civic rs or would you wait till next year? Because im considering to buy it , but still 1 cr (30 Thousand euro) for this car compared to european cars is crazy , dont want to miss any major update if its coming next year

Honda just introduced a wireless charger, so it's safe to say no changes are expected soon.

Great review. You forgot to compare it with Sonata! As you have driven both cars now, which one would you prefer as a car guy in terms of drive, features, comfort, looks?

Personally, i would say Sonata is more comfort and luxury oriented car. The susoension setup for both Civic and Sonata is same. Front : MacPherson Struts. Rear: Multilink Wishbone. But the difference is how the car's suspension tuned. Sonata is tuned more for comfortable ride quality it has a more relaxed drive, although grip and handling wise, it is still very good. Civic has a bit stiffer yet very well balanced suspension, that gives both great comfort although less then Sonata but still better then Grande and Elantra, but also provides superior high speed stability, handling, road grip and cormering capability. Feature wise, Civic has a llis point of Honda Sensing, which are ADAS features, Lane keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation, Auto High Beam, Autonomous Braking Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, Lead Car Departure Warning etc. Sonata, however, has electric seats, Wireless charger( Although Civic has it as well now), Heads up display, rear charging sockets, a better infotainment screen with apple car play and androids auto. Sonata also has curtains apart from Privacy Glass as well. Sonata has 6 airbags Civix has 2 airbags. Apart from that, assists like ABS, VSA, Traction Control, EBD, and Brake Assist are common between them. Power Wise, bith are Evenly matched. On Papers Sonata has 4 HP more and 10 nm torque more Civic. But Civic has a better 0-100 time. If you check via Gps speedometer. A well maintanied 11th gen RS has 0-100 of 8.95 seconds. A well maintanied Sonata 2.5 is 9.22 seconds. Both cars have drive mode Selector. Eco, Normal and Sport. Sonata costs about 1 crore 12 lakhs. Civic Costs 99 lakhs. Rest tue choice is yours. As for faults and problems Sonata had a huge problem with its wireless charger, it is slow as hell, only 10 % in 1 hour. Sonata's throttle body also has amajor issue, that if you dont get it properly serviced from Hyunfai every 5000 km the throttle body goes into limp mode, the car wont acclerate past 15 km/h. As i heard from some, Sonatas imterior build quality isnt as good as many cliam, some say, that it slightly better then Civic, others say Civix has slightly better build quality The other major issue was ture noise., the car would come with Pirelli P Zeros and many users and Suneel Munj complained that the tires worn out after 10,000 km and make extremely loud sounds after 100 km/h. Now Civic also has some issues, of course. 1. Steering Rack, some people have encountered this issue again. For some reason, Honda is baffled at it, but they can't do much beside chnaging the steering rack. 2. Although Build qaulity has been drastically improved from 10th gen , some people say that some parts aren't properly fitted or had some small welding points. 3. Some people complained Civic had a bit loud engine noise, which happens when it is floored on Sports mode. Although very few have reported it. 4. People say the rear seats lack in thigh support. However, the seats are comfortable as compared to Civic X. I hope this answers your questions. Feature wise Sonata 2.5 has a bit more to offer, But Civix 12th gennis the most feature oacked Civic that has ever been launched in Pakistan. Also Honda has proven it's reliability, even Civic x that was bombarded woth negative reviews in its early years has completed 150,000 km, so this is enough testament that the car is and was always reliable. Hyundai, well, uh......it is good, but i find Honda and Toyota to be much much better in durability and reliability. So this is my overview on it. Hope this answers your question.

My brother has XI gen civic oriel, he's driven the car around 12,000 kms and steering rack issue has started. The steering wheel at times gets stuck in one place. Disappointed by the new gen because, they are charging such a hefty amount and in return still you have to face such issues....

Sonata's has great build quality, and a great exterior and interior, however it is not fun to drive as much as a civic. Very noticeable body roll, average acceleration even for the 2.5 version, steering feels very detached not direct, and brakes are sub par. Sonata has won in all things except driving dynamics, which made me drop this car instantly and I bought a Civic RS 2023 and do not regret buying it. Tuned the RS a bit now it produces around 195 HP and 265 NM Torque. Not to much to brag about but now it is pretty fast with the car accelerating from 0-100 in 7.5 seconds. My Stock RS 2023 did 0-100 n about 9.5 seconds.

i agree with build quality, luxury and features, but not in driving dynamics. Sonata has very lazy steering, the car feels very detached and doesn't feel very grounded, okay stability and average acceleration even for the 2.5 variant and sub par brakes, not to mention that the car has a lot of body roll. Civic on the other hand has improved build quality from the previous generation, it has got good lucks and above all great driving dynamics. Great high speed stability, road grip, handling and acceleration sharp and spot on steering, sharp and quick brakes. Sonata has better build quality but Civic has better driving dynamics.
