This car is a different taste! It follows German design language. Pakistani people have been use to sportier, agressive civic in the past! It's design will take time to grow on people. I was instantly sold over the RS... oriel looks awfully basic. To me the lowered dash resembles audi experience with EXCELLENT blindspot elimination! Tbh its an audi experience at half price. The car is totally inspired from Audi's design language both exterior and interior. Pricing appears to be done keeping in light the prestige of CIVIC name in Pakistan. Honda willing has lost customers maybe as they would be selling City to general masses who want honda brand. Civic is now a totally premium car for richer Pakistanis, previously middle class Pakistanis also would own civic but now its not the same!

This product is pretty expensive and lack of competition in C segment sedan allows Honda to get away with this price. Once it rains and CPEC monsoon season hits C segment Sedan, then this would go the Peugeot 2008 discounted route....

Came to know of new Civic's price in early Jan22, immediately knew Toyota and Elantra would never let this opportunity go by and shall raise prices. Booked Elantra...waited for 3.5 months, got delivery in April22 and am extremely satisfied so far. Civic at this price is no brainer. P.S: Corolla's suspension and comfort is unmatchable. Thanks for the honest review, keep going boyZES 😀

While you're right in theory about not paying own money, in reality it makes more financial sense to pay own these days. If I'm getting this car on 3-4 lac own on same day delivery versus 12 months time where the price will most certainly have risen by 4 or more lac, then what sense does it make for me to go down the booking route?

And that's the problem, isn't it. Do you really HAVE to buy the new Civic? Do you really HAVE to buy this stripped down car at such a ridiculous price. Until this nation can put aside their materialistic desires and collectively boycott these corporations, they will always be fucked over every year. It should be up to Honda to deliver cars within a month of booking, and if they're not doing that then you have a plethora of other options at better prices with more features.

Such a clean and simplistic design. Absolutely love this colour too. Not to mention that it has more features than Sonata while being cheaper. Honda Atlas could've given some additional basic features though, but in the end, it's Honda Atlas.

The only negative about your reviews is that you only test the cars on the carpeted roads which is not fair. How would you know how well it is put together when it comes to rattles on pot holes and khaddas in Pakistan which are prevalent.

Boys I completely agree with you. This 11th gen civic is seriously overpriced. And let's be honest, the exterior of this car is nothing to boost about. Car looks very average from the side. Interior is no doubt great but again lacks so many features. Mere hisab se RS should be max 5.8 million. Sirf civic k shaukeen hi buy karenge is gari ko. Rest of us will go for other better options. Trust me this car will have a terrible resale value. Any further price hike will be the final nail in the coffin for this car.

If you compare features then definitely civic is better than sonata (No radar system in sonata) + the fuel avg of civic is better in city, on light foot it can give fuel avg upto 14km/L, the build quality is also far better than civic X. Civic only lacks electric seats and parking sensors.

@@fadi6248 Sonata is D segment. is a larger car, more space and more stable due to width. Its looks stylish and modern, New Civic is meh in design. Prices of Sonata are similar to Civic and seems like majority would choose Sonata due to these obvious reasons.

@@fadi6248 You mentioned Sonata lacking a radar system so I thought I'd list the things Sonata does have that the Civic doesn't. More than two airbags. Panoramic sunroof. Auto-retracting shade on the rear windshield. Electric seats. USB ports in the back. Nappa leather. Heads up display. Wireless charger. Hydraulic hood. And probably more I'm forgetting.

Great review, i second your verdict this car is massively overpriced but that has always been the case since civic reborn. There is simply no comparison with sonata, if you're not into specifically sedans, MG Hs, Sportage, Haval H6, changan are by far superior options.

@Zohaib Hasan I am actually planning to buy a car within a budget of 80 lacs and fuel economy is somewhat on my priority list as well but within the budget of 80 lacs, market is full of options. There is Civic Rs 2022, Sportage, Tucson, Oshan X7. At one point I had finalized Tucson Ultimate but few owners told me that it's a fuel ⛽️ guzzler. Then I chosed MG HS and but again it's fuel economy was bad plus the availability of parts is a big concern at the moment. Someone suggested me I should look for old model Audi A3 or A4. But at the moment I am thinking about Civic Rs for several reasons. Honda is already established here so parts and after service won't be a problem, plus it's fuel economy is somewhat good, it is the latest mode all over the world so I know it is expensive but do I have any other choice? Few guys suggested me that I should wait few months because hopefully new Corolla will be launched and we may see new vehicle from Peugeot as well but at the moment I am absolutely confused!

Personally i would choose sonata every day over civic, fuel economy is the same across this category (sportage, tuscon, Mg, A4, Merc C class) these are the ones I've experienced so far. Personally fuel economy wouldn't be a major concern at this price point. 2015-17 model C class would also be a great choice although maintenance cost would be higher but totally worth it.

For all the people: Yes, Civic has bad build quality overall but it doesn't deserve to be called a Lifafa because literally every car becomes a Lifafa at high speeds and it also depends upon the scenario of whether the car is crashing into a pole, another car or concrete wall. So kindly, civic isn't Lifafa, almost all cars nowadays are like this so that the car can absorb the shock from the crash to prevent it from being transmitted to the whole body of the car to protect the passenger. This is why most cars nowadays are disposable.
